Photographer's highlight #13 Karuna Khettanurak

Karuna Khettanurak is a graphic designer from Thailand. Karuna studied Visual Communication Art at Rangsit University

Her works involve paper abstracts, recycling art and photography, with photography being the why I was lucky to stumble across.

Karuna’s paper work is absolutely stunning and to add to that, her abstract photographs capture the beautiful and sublime shapes and shadows that she creates in the sometimes hundreds of folds and pleats. Her photography is very simple, clean and well executed.

I asked Karuna to describe her work and Karuna responded with;
    “  My abstracts, Your imagination:
The inspiration was started by taken photos. I found something that I've never seen it.
it's close to us, but we overlooked on it! The hidden meaning of life is surrounding us! Even the paper in the bin!
They come alive and become the abstract of mine. Then, I found myself is falling for Origami, Pop up, Sculpture
and the garbage paper becomes the recycling art. It seems like a two world collide. That's my abstracts and your imagination begins... “

I haven’t corrected her English as I feel this makes her whole Artwork and ideas even more beautiful and original.

You can find Karuna under the Username of “ninoisy” by going on Instagram, Amselcom, Instagood and Ink361.

You can also find her Photobook HERE on BLURB

So for now, and to tickle you artistic tastebuds , here are some examples of Karuna Khettanurak’s works.

Enjoy.
