InstaFinds #3

I find Instagram a great place to go to find inspiration and so I decided that once a week I would load up a selection of Instagram that caught my attention and share them with you.
I hope you find them as interesting or as inspiring as I do.

London 12.12 (winter series)
The thing that I like about this monochrome photograph is the symmetry which makes for a strong composition.
There is a great use of editing in this shot that gives it a sense of drama and it is only the cars that give you an idea of when this could have been taken, therefore making this a timeless photograph for me.

This beautiful photograph taken by Martinez is just that, beautiful. The offset composition and the faded, subtle exposure all add to the sublime soft textures. Matrinez has created an image that could be mistaken for a graphite drawing or a dry brush painting. Her work on Instagram is well worth taking a look at.

I chose this photograph for its subtle use of colours against the strong vertical composition of the trees. I'm not sure if the colours in this shot are created by a foggy, misty, morning or by use of a filter but the effect works really well. This photograph, as do most of the Instagrams by this user, have that sense of the old Polariod instant films.
